写真家、テクノロジカル・アーティスト。

工場での装置管理業務を通じて、人間と機械による視覚認知の根本的な違いに着目。既製のカメラに依存するのではなく、撮影装置（カメラ、レンズ、プログラム）を自作することで、装置独自の視点と人間との対話から生まれる新しい写真表現を探求している。

工学的なバックグラウンドを活かし、ラインセンサーを用いた撮影装置やサーキットベンディング技術による機器改造、撮影者の身体的動作や感覚と直接連動するシステムなど、独自の技術を開発。これらの装置は、機械的な画像生成プロセスに人間の主観を介入させ、従来の写真撮影の概念を拡張する。

写真家でありながら撮影装置自体を設計・製作することで、人間と機械の新たな境界線を明らかにし、両者の関係性を再考させる作品を創出している。現代社会における視覚体験の多様化と、人間と機械の共創による新たな表現の可能性をテーマに制作活動を続けている。

Through equipment management work in a factory, I became focused on the fundamental differences in visual cognition between humans and machines. Rather than relying on commercially available cameras, I explore new photographic expressions that emerge from dialogue between humans and the unique perspectives of devices by creating my own imaging apparatus (cameras, lenses, and programs).

Drawing on my engineering background, I develop original technologies including imaging devices using line sensors, circuit bending techniques for equipment modification, and systems that directly link with the photographer's physical movements and sensations. These devices intervene human subjectivity into mechanical image generation processes, expanding conventional concepts of photography.

By designing and fabricating photographic equipment while being a photographer, I create works that reveal new boundaries between humans and machines, prompting reconsideration of their relationship. I continue my creative practice with themes of diversifying visual experiences in contemporary society and the possibilities of new expressions through human-machine collaboration.
